About Me

So I’ve started a blog, mostly in part because I feel like I have so much to say and so many experiences in life that I just want to rant and rant. I also want to hear from others’ experiences and take in what others have to share as well.

I was born and raised in Miami, FL and am first generation American born to Cuban decent. I did four years in the Navy and went back home to Miami to wait for my prince charming to arrive. After getting married we received orders to sunny San Diego! This second move away from my family was hard…one of the reasons I got out of the Navy in the first place was because I hated being away from my family…and because my poor abuela kept getting heart palpitations every time I deployed.

My heartfilling passion is working with marine mammals. Throughout my naval career I worked on the bridge of the ship and was able to see endless amounts of dolphins, whales, sharks, jellyfish and so many other cool creatures. My husband and I love to go diving and pushing ourselves to discover new underwater environments…although admittedly that will be extremely

We are currently in a transition phase – while my husband finishes up training.

I am hoping that I can share some life experiences from all aspects, the Navy, being a working mom, being a military spouse, PCS’ng to different locations, being a twin mom, and I’d love to hear from you. I try to be fashionably sensible but honestly don’t feel like a have the patience for it.

Cheers to an adventurous journey on blogging!
